ORLANDO – Rest assured that anything and everything having to do with sport fishing can be found at the 61st ICAST Show on July 11-13 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.
More than 600 exhibitors in 2,000-plus booths representing manufacturers and jobbers from the U.S. and 70 countries make it the largest sportfishing trade show in the world.
The annual Orlando show is open only to industry-related dealers, buyers and their employees along with registered members of the media. Attendance is expected to total over 15,000. Note that the show is not open to the general public.
All exhibits will be in the North Exhibit Hall in the convention center’s newer North-South Concourse.
“Business opportunities abound at ICAST," show director Blake Swango said. "Inherently, this show is about showcasing the gear, apparel and accessories that help make a day on the water both exciting and rewarding.”
ICAST, which stands for "International Convention of Allied Sportfishing Trades" is produced by the American Sportfishing Association that launched the first Fishing Tackle Trade Show in 1953 in Chicago. It became ICAST in 1998.
